Blackburn College X Blackburn Rovers

A collaboration between the Fashion students at Blackburn College and Blackburn Rovers to raise money for the Community Trust and highlight the need to recycle and repurpose deadstock, preventing the clothes from being sent to landfill. Students have created high quality new items from the waste football kits that were once faulty, damaged or returned. The unique garments produced are one of a kind made in Blackburn for Blackburn. This project has allowed local students to gain valuable real-life experience working with local employers and at the same time raising money for a charitable cause.
